About Us

We're a Celebrating Place

We worship on Sundays at
8:00 and 10:45 a.m. (Summer: 8:00 and 10:00 a.m.)

Each of the worship services is different in style and content. Worship is a time to celebrate God's grace, give thanks for God's gifts, and join together as a family of faith in hearing and responding to God's call.

Holy communion is celebrated various times throughout the year on Sundays. Also, a Midweek Communion service takes place on the first Wednesday of every month at 11:00 a.m.

We invite to the Lord's table all who know Jesus Christ and have been baptized in his name, regardless of religious affiliation.

We're a Caring Place

Our Eagles' Wings Counseling Center offers individual, marriage, family, and pastoral counseling on a sliding fee scale.

Our Social Concerns efforts reach out to many with food and other assistance.

Our Parish Nurse provides advice, advocacy, and education to those who are part of St. John's.

Our Pastoral Carers, more than 20 folks, offer support, nurture, and prayer to those who are hospitalized or homebound.

Our building is wheelchair accessible with both ramps and an elevator. Large print bulletins are available. Tape recording of the services are distributed to the homebound.

Convenient off-street parking is available and most of the building, including the sanctuary, is air-conditioned.

We're a Kid Friendly Place

Our Church School offers Christian education for children of all ages at 9:15 a.m. on Sundays, September through May.

Child care, staffed by paid child care workers is available for pre-schoolers and infants on Sunday mornings (beginning at 9:15). For worship, older children will find children's activity bulletins and worship activity bags.

We have three Youth Ministry programs available for different ages participating in service and mission projects, learning events, and fellowship activities.

Our Nursery School offers high quality, weekday kindergarten preparation for pre-schoolers.

Our Family Life Ministry gathers parents and children (up to the third grade level) for educational, seasonal, and fellowship activities.

...and an Adult friendly Place!

Our adult education program offers study and fellowship opportunities on a variety of topics in small group settings. We also learn and grow as a congregation during our annual congregational study.

We're a Melodious Place

We praise God with voices and instruments. St. John's has six singing choirs, five bell choirs, and various bell and instrumental ensembles for children through adults.

Our annual Concert Series features nationally known artists and ensembles performing for the public.
