Eagles Wings Counseling Center
Our Purpose:
Eagle's Wings Counseling Center is a ministry of St. John's U.C.C. which offers counseling service to all persons with no consideration of one's race, religious affiliation or finances. Eagle's Wings Counseling Center is located at 201 South Broad Street in Nazareth and is a non-profit, church sponsored organization. A basic fee is charged for all counseling sessions. However, a sliding-fee scale will be determined for lower income and/or financially burdened individuals.
About Curtis G. Kemmerer
Pastor Curt has been a licensed marriage and family therapist and sesoned pastoral counselor in practice since 1986. He is also the Pastor of Congregational Care Ministries at St. John's U.C.C. He helps people give voice to their hurs and hopes as the path to a full and vital life. His faith informs his practice quite simply: Jesus said, "Be compassionate as God is compassionate." He seeks to embody compassion in his life and work.
Individuals, couples and families find his client centered, solution based, strength focused process a helpful way to heal, learn and grow in their relationships, and as they live life's challenges of death/loss, isolation, meaning and freedom/responsibility.
Clients contribute to the content of their lives. Curt guides the therapy process using the skills, understanding and compassion he learned in his training, personal journey as a therapy client and continued supervision to comfort when necessary; challenge when appropriate; and support always the client's process of healing and growth.
